January is here and we are turning the page on a VERY busy year in real estate – all across the nation – and on our little island. I am grateful, humbled, and oh so lucky to have helped 35 terrific clients make big moves this year. With COVID, my line has been “anything is on the table.” Clients (including our family) made big moves they might not have imagined making prior to life being turned on it’s side and shaken with all of the COVID changes. I had clients move to Idaho, Arizona, Scotland, Canada (and then back ;) across the state and across the island. Newcomers arrived from Oregon, Seattle, California, California and California :)

I was thrilled to help 17 buyers, 18 sellers and 14 repeat clients in 2021. The market was fierce for buyers and multiple offers the norm. I helped 11 buyers win in multiple offers, typically on the first or second try. Sellers are having their day and my average seller saw a 13% escalation in price. Some saw 30%. And I think that this new-norm we are in will continue into 2022, but more of that to come in an up-and-coming post. Stay tuned and Happy New Year!
