Bainbridge Island 2011 Chilly Hilly

The participants of the 2011 Chilly Hilly saw it all: freezing temperatures, rain, snow . . . I guess they saw it all, except a little sun. I got up early, not to ride, but to take photos of the first ferry unloading at 8:30am.  My fingers were frozen after being outside for a mere twenty minutes. Seeking warmth, and coffee in Blackbird Bakery, I met up with some very smart riders who were starting the day off right, in a bakery! Cheers to all the riders, you are die-hard cyclists!
