Bainbridge’s IslandWood hosting Open Trails Sunday 12-4
The forecast says it will be 88 degrees on Sunday. Beat the heat under the glorious canopy of trees out at the IslandWood campus. The trails are open for roaming, the suspension bridge is yours to run across (okay maybe walk) and of course the forest canopy observation tower is open for climbing (worth the effort). Volunteers/guides will be throughout the campus to answer your questions and direct you if you get lost (not a bad thing). Pack a lunch, you’ll want to stay all the afternoon.
I will be at an open house :( :) but the rest of my family will probably be exploring the glorious 255 acres. We are so very lucky to have IslandWood in our backyard.
